Bobbi Enderlin, originally from Benicia, has been named president-elect of Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc.
Enderlin will serve a one-year term for the global women’s organization, which provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. She will work with SIA President Stephanie Smith, of Oak Harbor, Washington, and the Soroptimist Board of Directors to oversee Soroptimist’s strategic planning and program development for the organization. She will also help lead Soroptimist’s efforts to increase its collective impact in helping women and girls reach their full potential.

“I am delighted with the opportunity to be part of the leadership team that sets the strategic direction and policy of our Soroptimist Federation,” Enderlin said in a press release. “I believe that our work to empower women and girls through access to education is key to a world where women have a seat at any table where decisions are made.”
